  • Resource allocation planning component updated:
  • Improved performance and new page-by-page view mode added.
  • Two representations for the planning system: by project and by resources (instead of the parameter in the dashboard of the component).
  • ‘My projects’ filter and ‘Include subordinated’ features added in the department filter.
  • Important! Changed logic of planned resources adding:
  • Previously, the planning system showed all the members of the team (users, as well as the employees of the departments, added to the team), and the users added directly to the scheduler. By doing so the user is able to add a resource for planning without adding to the project team.
  • Now the scheduler shows only the users added directly to the project team. At the same time, the department users are not shown on the schedule.
  • The scheduler allows a new member of the team to be added.
  • Optimized time-off chart and page-by-page viewing mode added.
  • An ‘Only active’ filter and ‘Has license’ column have been added to ‘Users’ report.
  • ‘Users’ report added with a ‘Paid’ column, i.e. the user has a license.
  • ‘Timesheets (detailed)’ report is now automatically added with additional buttons, which correspond with additional fields of clients, programs, projects, users and timesheet rows.
  • The timesheet list has been added to the ‘Department’ column.
  • Help is available in English.
  • New timesheet period notification option has been removed.

Improvements and updates:

  • An improved approach to the time zones. Starting from now the time zone of the user (WorkPoint parameter) is shown in the resource allocation planning component and in the time-off chart.
  • Fixed: the issue with ‘rounding up the problem’ in the timesheet business rules.

New features and main changes:

  • Users are able to enter web and mobile apps using their Microsoft account. In order to use this feature, the same email address has to be used in Azure AD and WorkPoint.
  • Project expenses setting added:
  • ‘Planned exp’ field has been removed from the project settings tab.
  • New ‘General type’ of expenses added into the system. This type is automatically added to the project during the process of creation. ‘Planned exp’ field has been moved to this type of planning.
  • The list of project expense types can be edited now: the user is able to add allowed types and set planned values.
  • ‘Edit’ option added to the ‘Project expenses’ access right granules for Project management
  • Selection of the expense type in the expense request is limited with the option chosen for the project.
  • The time-off chart supports the filter by the department, including the subordinated units.
  • Customizable currency list added.

Improvements and updates:

  • Fixed the amount of expense for ‘Projects’ report.

New features and main changes:

  • WorkPoint Android App – supports filling in and approving timesheet on all devices with Android onboard.
  • Additional corporate domains can be added for authentication of the users.
  • Information about the planning is not deleted when the user is removed from a project team.

Improvements and updates:

  • Improved speed of work and performance of ‘Planning’ component when working with big amounts of data.
  • Timesheet dashboard representation error fixed. This error appeared when the user changed the size of the window during the update.
  • Additional minor improvements and updates.

  • Validation rule levels. Two levels have been added to the timesheet validation rules: ‘Error’ and ‘Warning’. The user is able to dismiss warnings but has to fix errors.

Improvements and updates:

  • Improved update of the time-off hour information in the timesheet (by clicking ‘Update’ button in the timesheet form).
  • Improved layout of the long headers of the additional fields of the timesheet.
  • Fixed approval history representation for action with forced approval.
  • General performance increase.

  • Additional fields:
  • ‘Additional fields’ component added to ‘System’ application.
  • Implemented automatic field representation for Programs, Clients, Projects, Users and Timesheets in the form of additional columns in the row.
  • Implemented automatic adding of additional fields to the available columns of the corresponding lists.
  • Implemented automatic adding of additional fields to available report columns from the corresponding data sources.
  • Expanded role model:
  • Administrator role added with ‘Additional fields’ granule.

Improvements and updates:

  • Fixed ‘Nonintegral’, ‘Number’ and ‘Currency’ fields editing error in Mozilla Firefox.
  • Fixed localization of the error message with the information about reaching the maximum number of report records for the web-client.

New features and main changes:

  • Project programs added. More information.
  • Expanded role model:
  • All access rights involved in the project are added with ‘My program projects’ field.
  • ‘Project management’ role is added with ‘Project programs’, ‘Program co-managers’ and ‘Program financial information’ rights.
  • Timesheet, time-off, and expense request approval routes are added with Program Manager and Program Co-manager roles.
  • New ‘Project programs’ report is available.
  • ‘Timesheets (detailed)’, ‘Projects’, ‘Expense requests’ and ‘Expense requests (detailed)’ reports are added with the following columns: ‘Program’, ‘Program (code)’ and ‘Program (Manager)’. These reports are also added with the filter by the program.

The address of WorkPoint will not change. The user has to enter the very same address as before:  http://workpoint-app.com. If the app requires authentication from the user, they will be automatically redirected to WorkPoint Passport app.

Improvements and updates:

  • ‘Project tasks’ report added with ‘Active’ column that shows the current state of the task (open or closed).
  • ‘Expense requests’ and ‘Expense requests (detailed) reports added with new columns.
  • ‘Expenses’ field type has been changed for the summary about the client.
