Explicit permissions

Financial information permission granule:

  • Client Management role / «All clients» section — provides access to all financial information about all the clients and all the projects (including projects without customers)
  • Client Management role / «My clients» section — provides access to all financial information about all the clients of the user (where the user is selected as a manager) and all the projects of such clients.
  • Project Management role / «All projects» section — provides access to all financial information about all the clients and all the projects

  • Project Management role / «My clients’ projects» section — provides access to all financial information about all the clients of the user (where the user is selected as a manager) and all the projects of such clients.
In order to edit the financial information, the user requires not only explicit permissions in the Financial information granule but permissions to edit the entity, i.e. the client, the project or the project task.

Application scenarios

In the majority of cases, the access to the financial information has to be limited for co-managers of the projects. For example, a deputy of the project manager has access to the information about the projects in order to control the task structure, terms, and labor intensity, but he’s not able to get access to the information about the prime cost of the work, as well as about the rates and the profits of the project.
